For Those On Facebook.
Hey folks! I know some of you have been wanting me to update about what I've been up to lately, so here's some goings-on!

First off, I apologize for not updating or keeping in contact; I fear I may have become something of a recluse here lately.

I -love- being married! :D Or, more importantly, I love my Greg. He was well worth the wait! XD

About fashion: For those of you who may have been keeping up, about two years ago I developed an affinity for the Gothic subculture. This hasn't changed much, and I am now excited to be in a position where I can indulge in my fashion preference a bit more. I've decided that, being a married lady of 30, I really shouldn't delve too deep in Lolita or "perky Goth" looks, nor should I try to wear tutus a la Hot Topic. Instead, I will attempt to go for the Victorian Goth look, which is ten times more elegant, and something I think is quite appropriate for my inner Goth.

I know there are those of you who remember me in the massive t-shirts and pants and terribly hideous tennis shoes, but those days are far behind me now; I've made a conscious effort to distance myself from such things, and while I still haven't mastered the hair and the make-up, I -have- made a GREAT deal of progress in the wardrobe department.

Perhaps one day I will post pictures of the finished product. Perhaps not. If I do, I ask that you try to understand that I -have- tried "normal" clothing time and time again, but I've always felt uncomfortable in it. I'm not normal. I wasn't given the choice to be normal. I've attempted "normality", and it just doesn't work for me. It doesn't make me happy. [For all of those of you who would reply with "But who knows what 'normal' is anyways?", I would ask that you keep your comments to yourselves. You know the difference I am talking about, and whenever someone says that phrase, it only serves to annoy me terribly.]

I hope that this has been informative and interesting for all of you! If anyone has any questions, feel free to leave a comment on my journal, or on Facebook, or to email me.

Wishing all of you the very best that God has to offer,

~Lady Tam Li Hua~

Edit: By the way, if anyone wants a crash course in the different types of Goths, I suggest this site.
